Adult literacy project
At the end of 2021, a new adult literacy project started. The request came from the community and this fills us with pride, it means that the children have set a fruitful example! The course is already up and running and currently has a large number of participants which we are sure will grow with time.
Here we present Ravaomalala (35 years old), Nestella (20 years old) and Lety (51 years old) who, along with other women from the village, are following the adult literacy course. They work all day in the fields and in the evenings, despite their fatigue, they learn to read and write in the makeshift, dimly lit premises of the parish. They have decided to educate themselves in order to have more dignity, to know their rights, to give their children a better future.
