Construction and furniture of three classrooms for the St. Thérèse School in Marofijery
In Marofijery, the first and only school, built in 2016-17, has only 3 classrooms. The school provides learning until the 3rd year of the primary cycle, composed of 6 years, at the end of which the pupils are forced to interrupt their studies. We have funded the construction of 3 additional classrooms so pupils can attend school until the end of the primary cycle. The three classes are ready for the academic year 2022-2023.

Concerning the school canteen, currently pupils eat their lunch sitting on the ground. The villagers have built a temporary kitchen and shelter with local materials to allow the pupils to eat their lunches sheltered from the rain and sun. The construction is very basic but essential and functional.
